PASSION – POWER – PURPOSE
I lead a pretty charmed life. My husband and I (of almost 25 years) have 2 great kids, enjoy each others’ company and spend time on various home reno and entertaining hobbies. To the outside world, life is good.
You see, I was REALLY good at making everything look perfect, regardless of the pain.
Wearing my mask was easy.
Emotionally I have struggled with beliefs & assumptions that were fostered during a turbulent childhood. Having worked through much of my thoughts and feelings with therapy in my earlier adulthood, I was blindsided by the onslaught of emotions in my mid-forties. Nothing was enough anymore. Everything was wrong, and yet nothing was different. All of those beliefs that I had worked too hard to stuff down inside, were bubbling to the surface and creating havoc in my life.
In frustration and surrounded by incredible fear, I started a journey towards authenticity. I had to face exactly who I was and dissect each belief that had gotten me to exactly that point. I wanted to uncover the ‘real’ me.
Culminating in the completion of my Coach Training with the highly accredited Life Purpose Institute, I feel more grounded and at peace than ever before.
I know that joy is possible. I see it in the faces of my clients every day.
I know that there is MORE for you.
I know that we can uncover and move through your beliefs. I have done that work: The reason I can take you there is because I’ve gone there too.
I will be a compassionate sounding board and confidante who you can share all your challenges with and where we can focus 100% on your needs.
I will offer help with getting through your persistent fears, limiting beliefs and other obstacles that have been keeping you from moving forward.
I will help you develop tools and strategies to be the best version of yourself and to create a life that you love.
I will provide accountability and support to help you follow through and make the changes you’ve been wanting to make.
I’m not a push-over and don’t believe in being paid to stroke egos. I will call you out on your negativity, playing the victim, or whatever crutch you’ve been using so far. I’ll always be in your corner and act with your best interests at heart, however taking full responsibility for where you are right now (good and bad) is essential in starting this transformation.
I also don’t work with people on a ‘per-session’ basis. My programs are a minimum of 2 months and progress from there at your discretion.
Lastly, permanent change takes time. Your brain needs to learn new pathways, make new habits and form new correlations in order to elicit real and lasting change. Anything less is a waste of your money and time.
Finally, the complimentary consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and assess how we work together. There is no sales pitch at the end. If it’s the right fit, we’ll know.
With Love, Katrina
Other Things You Might Not Know About Me…
- I’m a private person. However difficult my past may have been, I will not share those details. Rest assured, the reason I can take you deep, is because I’ve been there.
- At the age of 17, I injured my back during a football game which went undiagnosed for 2 years. Fortunately, I was able to have spinal surgery when I was 19, just prior to heading off to school.
- I love to write. Blog posts, Social posts, journalling…it doesn’t matter. This was probably the greatest gift from my university career.
- I have my own coach. I pay her more than I “think” I can afford. Our work is life-changing and is how I can ‘go there’…’cause I’ve already gone there myself.
- I dance alone, sing loudly in the car and laugh belly laughs with my friends.
- I am addicted to creativity. The release of emotions brings me clarity.
- I learn from my clients all the time. People are incredible. To experience their resilience and dedication is empowering and life-altering.
- Authenticity is key.
